I'm proud we've gotten to 100. But I'm really itching to explore other characters and do other projects. I think I've been stuck in this medical school for a while, and I need to open up and get out. I look forward to that, and there's part of me that wants to explore.
**Sigh** Now becoming even more depressed over the fact that this may be the last season of Angel, just this week the WB announced 2 more dramtic pilots they have picked up, one is from a writer for "The OC" and the other comes from another former producer of the "West Wing" Tommy Schalmee. Anyone else noticing a strange trend here - the WB has picked up at least 3 pilots of show writers and producers who are in direct competition with Angel on Wed night.
Sorry just had to add that news. **sigh**
Am I that thinks the WB is stacking the odds against Angel for another season.
LOS ANGELES (Zap2it.com) - Earlier today, an announcement was made to the cast and crew at The WB's "Angel" that this season, the show's fifth, would be its last.
"It's official enough to know it's real," David Greenwalt, who co-created the series with Joss Whedon, tells Zap2it. "but I haven't talked to anybody at the network or the studio. I can tell you that it's real, that it makes Mr. Whedon and myself very sad, that we wish it had kept going and we thought it was only getting better.
