As you might expect from the title my crosshair in third person view is a tad bit misplaced, which makes aiming at stuff rather difficult. * Renamed "Advanced Aiming" feature into "Aim Fix". We The Players Winners - November/December. What this does it fixes arrows that can't hit anything past a certain range. [+] Ranged NPC Accuracy Degree - Accuracy percentage of NPC ranged attacks. Added AIM FIX automatic standby mode during the intro sequence (Helgen): if you start a new game the AIM FIX will be inactive (including MCM) until you escape Helgen. [+] Lock Wheel Zoom when Archery - Locks the wheel zoom by equalizing global minimum and maximum zoom (vanity distance) temporarily only during Ranged Activity. So nothing compicated, you can change this value any time. Currently it has options to control the custom UI mods and Archery Gameplay Overhaul. [*] Stealth Meter Below - similar to Exploration (see description above). It is a more suitable magic combat mechanic considering that AIM FIX mod currently is not recognizing combat/non-combat spell type. Center position can be excluded (switched off in MCM) individually for each Activity. [+] Auto-ON for 3rd Person Archery - activates the aiming assist tweaks as soon as you stand on foot with a bow/crossbow equipped in 3rd person view. [+] 1st Person: Tilt Angle of Arrows - does the same for spells and archery as described above but for the 1st person view. WARNING: It's strongly not recommended to change anything there without knowing of what you are doing. Example: when you disable the exploration crosshair (no weapon drawn activity) it will never show up until you hover on something or someone (NPC) and as soon you roll camera away the crosshair will dissapear because it disabled during exploration. Archery Gameplay Overhaul requires Skyrim - Enhanced Camera or Immersive First Person View. Fixed issue (discovered thanks to Tony48): when the camera min/max distance (vanity) was not applied once on first game load after Skyrim was fully restarted from desktop, but during the next game loadings all worked. [*] Debug messages - AIM FIX will display notification messages in upper screen corner containing detailed info: current activity and equipped weapon/spell, current aiming offset coordinates and attack state, aim assist auto-toggle, etc. Gravity pulls things DOWN. I'm on Oculus touch, and the archery feels pretty damn authentic so far - especially with Smilodon installed so I don't have to fill enemies with 30 arrows for them to die. [+] Stealth Meter Lock (Custom UI) - when enabled provides support for any custom UI mod by ignoring stealth meter position, which means that AIM FIX will not apply the aiming offsets to stealth meter and preserve its custom position. Left handed offsets will also apply during left attack. [-] Aiming offsets: removed dual attack offsets for spells and staves - they are no longer needed because of a new handling mechanism for magic offsets (described above). For example, I personally recommend to leave it enabled even if you prefer play without auto-aim at all, it allows you to conveniently pursue deer and wolves on horseback while on foot you can be a hardcore archer again. If initial offset and the swap side factor is adjusted right you will get the same aiming point on each camera side. [+] Swap Side Feature: no need to re-adjust all aiming offsets for an opposite side - there only one global setting called "Swap Side Horizontal Increment" (see the MCM section - Aiming Offsets). In future versions of AIM FIX mod this mechanism may be improved and will cover more options. Changes: [*] Less operations comparing to vanilla crosshair (only vanilla crosshair will be forced during sneaking since the custom crosshair is always active). 1.1. Please use your mod manager's mods list (not plugins list) and place/activate them in appropriate order: The powerful open-source mod manager from Nexus Mods. Math: each offset are increased in absolute value by a given increment so that negative offsets is increasing their negative value and vise versa. Archery without a crosshair in Skyrim is not recommended because the orientation of the hands/bow/knocked arrow in relation to the arrow upon release do not line up visually. [+] New option "Stealth Meter: Force AIM FIX Position" - enable it when you don't like the custom UI's position for stealth meter, so that the AIM FIX will use its own position for lowered stealth meter (centered below). Additional note for better understanding how it works: right handed magic offsets now will apply instantly on eqip (before the attack). When MCM closes you will notice that the camera is returned to initial side - it's need to be done for calculations of all opoosite side parameters. It sould not happen because vanity must be controlled by other camera mod (like 3PCO) or by INI-settings. If you want stealth meter to be centered dynamically and get the aiming offsets during sneaking then simply disable the "Stealth Meter Lock (Custom UI)" option in MCM. Negative values means zooming in (closer). Currently forced crosshair during hovering is always active and not have an option to disable this behavior. Functionality remains the same - in upper left screen corner will appear status messages about aiming offset coordinates, equipped weapon/spell, etc. The 'Stealth Meter: Lock (Update Custom UI)' option will be disabled. For inexperienced players it's recommended to enable them all. - Disable the "Show while Hovering on Objects" option for each Activity. Note on perfomance duting intro sequence (helgen): Please take into account that the script load of Skyrim reaches hellish overload during Helgen intro scene (not the AIM FIX mod fault), so it's normal if you don't get all AIM FIX camera features as you enter the Helgen keep, especially if your mods set is quite huge. Skyrim Skill List Teaches a word of power to a shout, words can be found with the "help 4" command and are recognizable by the WOOP tag. [+] Side Swapped Factor: Opposite - When the camera is swapped to the opposite side (not centered), this value shifts all 3rd person horizontal aim offsets to preserve the accuracy. [+] Swap Side Feature: camera is switching between two or three positions: left (initial) < center (optional) > right (opposite). Use the archery practice targets to see the exact dynamics for different ranges. So it's suitable for for fun but not for realism. The Skyrim.ini lines provided in Description makes the arrows fly a bit more realistic, somewhat like in Oblivion. Exception for vailla UI (maybe some Custom UI mods too): a short-time dissapear may still presist when the game hides the crosshair on enter sneaking - it's irremovable game behaviour, not the mod. A bow is a flexible, bent or curved ranged weapon, strung taut from end to end with a string. When my character stands, the crosshairs are normal. Enabling this option may be useful during learning how AIM FIX works. Fixed v2.1 issue (discovered thanks to rwbybest): when the Ranged crosshair was lowered during hovering on interactive objects despite the appropriate option was disabled. So disabled fits well realism and hardcore ranged gameplay but it need to be adjusted for each character position, weapon type and camera view. Affects both enemies and followers at once.
